12 Difference Between Rocket And Missile

1. Missile An object which is forcibly propelled at a target, either by hand or from a mechanical weapon. 2. A Rocket is a ussually cylindrical tube propelled by combustion in a direction opposite its thrust. 3. A missile is never used as a spacecraft. A rocket is sometimes called a spacecraft. 4. In a military context, a missile is guided while rocket is not. 5. A Rocket is usually smaller in size. A Missile is usually larger in size. 6. A rocket has higher speeds as compared to missiles while a missile has more accuracy as compared to a rocket. 7. A Rocket is usually: Solid fuel. A Missile is usually: Can use either solid fuel, liquid fuel, or both.
