Those ads are on the Search Network.

Search network ads are text-based.
5. The ads in the Search Network only shows up on search engine sites, whereas a Display Network Ad can show up on any website within the partner network.
6. Display network is the ideal space to promote brand awareness and its vast reach is appealing to advertisers who are looking to broaden their fan bases.
7. If you are new to AdWords, I would suggest running your ads only on the Google Search Network.
