13 Advantages And disadvantages of cotton clothes

Advantages: 1. Soft, Natural and Breathable. 2. Moisture Control: Cotton material is breathable and it emits moisture away from the body.  3. Hypoallergenic and does not irritate skin. 4. Insulating:  Cotton does not conduct temperature well, making it an insulator. 5. Comfort: Cotton cloth is soft and stretchable which makes it comfortable clothing.  6. Burns as opposed to melts like polyester. 7. Durability: Cotton material is highly durable because of its tensile strength. This makes it strong, durable and less possibility for rip or tear.  8. Inexpensive and Versatile. Disadvantages: 1. Shrinkage and Wrinkling. 2. Cotton Retains Water: Once it is wet, cotton will stretch out of shape and become saggy and feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day. 3. Damage: As cotton is a natural fiber, it has risk of getting damaged. Cotton fabric might pill seamlessly as lint can develop due to shorter fiber length. 4. Expensive 5. The colours from cotton clothing can run, bleeding onto your other clothes and discolouring them.
