Pros: 1. Compatibility: The Apple pay is compatible with the major banks and supports all credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, among others. It has a user-friendly interface making it easy to use. 2. No more bulky wallet to carry around if you are able to use your phone to pay with your debit and credit cards. 3. Simpler payments. Once shoppers have their credit card stored in the iPhone, they need only hold the phone near an NFC reader, approve the transaction with their fingerprint using iPhone’s Touch ID, and the payment is processed within a couple of seconds. 4. it's not reliant on opening up any apps for it to work, and you don't need any signal for it to work. 5. It’s secure: The fact that you don’t need to swipe a credit card means that there is a much lower risk of your information being stolen. Apple Pay won’t even use your credit card to process payments, but will generate a "device account number" as another intermediary between your private data and the retailers. It uses one of the most secure payment mechanisms in the industry. 6. Anonymity: Apple does not collect information about what you buy, where you buy it or how much you pay for it. Merchants are even shielded from your identity for in-person transactions as well. 7. No stolen or lost credit cards: With Apple Pay, you no longer need to take your debit card with you. You can not lose them so, or they can not be stolen so easily. 8. Free of charge: Apple pay is free of charge thus, retailers will be able to sell goods or services without any fee charges. 9. Better experience. Apple is known for creating superlative user experiences. Apple Pay is no exception. 10. Quick mode of payment: It is the fastest mode of payment and once payment is processed, you get a verification notification on your phone for the transaction. Cons: 1. Not all merchants support Apple Pay. 2. No online shopping support. You can use Apple Pay to buy apps and buy other items within apps but the service does not support online shopping. 3. It won't work if your battery has run out.
