Difference Between Bill Gates & Steve Jobs

1. Steve Jobs was the founder of Apple.
Steve used to think ahead, about future. And Bill Gates is the owner of Microsoft, which was more pragmatic of course. Bill sticked to present. He does not think ahead of time, unlike Steve Jobs.
2. Bill had more of an execution ability to build the things that are needed now, to build a company now, make the profits now, in the short-term.
3. Bill Gates  was born on 28th October, 1955. He belongs to a middle class family who prompted to Harvard.
Steve jobs was born in 24th February, 1955. He was brought up in modest means and didn’t gain high education.
4. Steve Jobs was the founder of Apple and Bill Gates is the founder of Microsoft.
5. Gates was more apt at understanding how to make money out of the business, and that was to invest in products that are needed now.
6. Bill Gates becomes popular when the windows become the default operating system of the entire world.
Steve`s major achievements are IPOD, IPAD, TABLETS, MUSIC players, smartphones etc.
7. Jobs had a design set-mind, he wanted to design things in his own unique way. Be it anything. Bill did whatever he could do best, according to the requirement of present time.
8. Bill was not as creative as Jobs, but was different and a genius in his own ways.
9. Jobs was a public speaker as well. He was more active in this kind of stuff. Bill is quite the opposite.
10. Steve Jobs offers a more autocratic leadership style. An autocratic leadership has one person in charge, the authoritarian, who collects little to no input from team members.
Bill utilized the ideas and advice of his team to produce some of the biggest technology game changers in the market today. He was a genius in his own way.
11. Jobs speech used to gain more applause and praise among youngsters especially, he always used to tell them to follow their intuitions and not to live someone else’s life.
