13 Disadvantages Of Immigration To The Host Country

1. Increasing cost of services such as health care and education. 2. Depression of wages may occur but this seems to be temporary. 3. Population Boom: In cases where the number of immigrants abruptly increased, it may cause to a population boom that may strain the public services as well as future unemployment especially for the natives. 4. There are language problems, racial and ethnic discrimination. 5. Migrants are often seen as potential criminals. 6. Job loss: Immigrants may also cause pressure on job issues as the locals often lose jobs to incoming workers. 7. Having workers willing to work for relatively low pay may allow employers to ignore productivity, training and innovation.
